CARNIVAL

Our favourite celebration is carnival because it's very funny because you can disguise yourself of lots of different things or characters. 
In Lleida, like lots of other cities in the world, we organize a parade with lots of decorated floats, music and confetti. In these floats there is disguised people dancing and having fun, who are disguised the same.
After the party you can go to a restaurant with your family and friends. Some teenager persons go to the disco. We love carnival because is a good occasion to meet new persons and dance a  lot.

advantages and disadvantages to live in a city or a small town

The advantages of live in a small town are: there is less pollution, usually meet the friends, and there isn’t dangerous stay to the street. And the disadvantages are: there is less security, there aren’t many shops, now there aren’t many hospitals, there aren’t many burglars, in the weekend you don’t meet you friends in the cinema, because usually there isn’t.

And the advantages to live in a city are: much security, many shops, supermarkets, hospitals, cinemas, schools, university. And disadvantages there are: much pollution, stress, traffic. It’s dangerous because there are many cars, robbers, and drunks.

Small town

• The advantages to live in a small town are : we meet best at all the people of the town, don’t lost in the town, a little bit traffic, go walking for all the town ...

• And the disadvantages are: don’t have many shops, don’t have many works, and don’t have many tourists.

Big town

• The advantages to live in a big city: many tourists, the are types with all the shops, and have a lot of shops…

• And disadvantages are: there is a lot of traffic, go with the car of all the sites, and don’t meet the people.

Small town:

- Advantages: In a small town there isn’t much pollution because you can go walking to the shops and to other places. Everybody meets. The best place to live is the small town.
- Disadvantages: In a small town there aren’t commercial centers, parks, hotels, museums, theater…

There aren't many people that you can meet.

Big town:

- Advantages:There are more places to go and more cultural places to visit. The streets are longer and there are many shops, restaurants…
At the weekend young people can go to the cinema or theatre or to other places.
- Disadvantages: There is much pollution because there are much traffic and industries. You don’t live in the centre the other places are so far away.

ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES TO LIVE IN A BIG CITY AND IN A SMALL TOWN

·       We think that living in a small town assure you less pollution and stress, more friends and you can go out in the street earlier. You can also arrive at home later than in a city. But living in a small town has, of course, its disadvantages: you haven’t got many shops to go to buy, you have got less services than in a city, when you finish primary, you have to study E.S.O. in the city and every day you have to move to the city and return. You have also less access to Internet than in a city. Then, if we talk about the big city we will have some advantages: it has got a lot of different shops (shopping centre, supermarkets, games shops, clothes shops …), a lot of services (hospital), and more amusement parks. It has got disadvantages: a lot of pollution, you haven’t got good communication with your friends and family, more criminality than in a small town. In this composition we put that we think about a big city and a small town.

THE ADVANTAGES OF LIVING IN A DIFERENTS PLACES

The advantages of living in a small town are: that there isn’t much traffic and you can go walking everywhere calmly. If you have got little children you haven’t got fear, because the ambient is very quiet and is more security. As is a small village, there aren’t many people and all the people know between them. The houses are bigger and normally they have more than one floor. They are surrounded by fields and nieces views. The people usually work in their own field producing natural products like vegetables and fruits.

The disadvantages of living in a small town are: there aren’t many shops and the ones that there are they haven’t got a lot of things and if you want to do the purchase weekly you can’t buy there. And you have to take the car and go to the most near city and buy the thing there. If you want to have privacy, in the villages is so difficult because the people find out of all. Not all the villages have school or high school and the children who live in a village have to go in another city or village bigger for go to school and they have to go by bus or by car.

The advantages of living in a city are: there are a lot of schools, high schools and nurseries. Also there are a lot of different shops with a lot of variety of products. In a city there are more things to do at the weekend or the free time, like go shopping, go to the cinema, and go to the bowling… It’s easier to go out with the friends! The attention medic is better because there are more hospitals around the city and there resolve big illness.

The disadvantages of living in a city are: there is a lot of traffic and it’s more difficult to arrive at the time to work or to school. There are more people and you only know a few of them. Also there is a lot of pollution because there are more cars and more industries. When you go walking you are more insecurity because you don’t know the people and you have got fear that the strange people can steal you.

The village and the town

THE ADVANTATGES OF LIVING IN A SMALL TOWN ARE:

• There are much quietness.
• There isn’t much roads.
• There is a lot of nature.
• In the Village, there are a different type of houses, and they are huge. There are houses like: a villa, mansions, detached houses…

 

THE DISVANTATGES ARE:

• There aren’t many shops.
• The people moves to the city to work, because there isn’ many jobs.
• The children moves to the city to go at the school because normally there isn’t any school in a small village.
• The aren’t much commodities.

THE ADVANTATGES OF LIVING IN A BIG CITY ARE:

• In the city there are a lot of shops.
• The children  can go to the school in her city.
• In the city there are a lot of commodities.
• The people can go to work in her city.

THE DISVANTATGES ARE:

• There are a lot of traffic in the roads.
• There aren’t any nature in the city.
• In the city there are a lot of pollution.
• There are a lot of car crashes because in the city the cars run very fast.
