‘CASTANYADA’


This party is typical of Spain. It is celebrate at 31 October. It is done at autumn.
In this celebration , there are chestnuts in the streets selling chestnuts at the children.
In the school the children, eat chestnuts and ‘’panellets’’(these are like small cakes with almonds).
Some teenagers, diseases about chestnuts and give to the smallest children chestnuts.
Very people participate in this party.
In United States don’ celebrate it because there the people do Halloween, a celebration that consists to disease and the children go trick or treating to houses and the people on this give money to this children.
This party is replacing the one that is traditional for our lands.
The people now are celebrating more Halloween than ‘castanyada’, here in Catalonia.
I don’t like this because I think that we have to kip our traditional parties.

The Christmas

THE CHRISTMAS


Is my favorite day and is the day on which such activities as giving gifts a present’s parent buys lunch noon and typical food is chicken.
Whole family lunch with us, also have Christmas gift I like that I bring money.



These days are very special to the family if you’re not wrong stops
Family holidays. Children also very playing machine there are people who do not live Christmas to me if fun.
My favorite present is the ball because in playing football.
